Using Systemic Approach in Evaluating the Quality of Preschool Centers and Presenting Some Suggestions for Improving These Centers

Constant evaluation and improvement of preschool centers’ quality, is an inevitable issue due to the increasing importance and necessity of this notion as the primary foundation of official education and training for qualitative and quantitative development of the course. The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the quality of preschool centers, both for girls and boys, in Mariwan County, using the systemic approach and presenting suggestions for improving the quality of the courses. The study was conducted in two phases: 1- designing a framework consisting 21 factors and 237 external, process and internal markers and 119 criteria for judgment; 2- utilizing them in evaluating the preschool centers of the target population. The data was gathered and analyzed using 330 people’s opinions including: novices, teachers, managers, founders, graduates of preschool course, experts and novices’ parents, by means of questionnaires, interviews and observation based on perception, inference and secondary research. The results showed that the external section’s quality, process part’s and the internal one’s were in order at the levels of “relatively good”, “not good” and “relatively good” ; hence, we can say that the general quality of the boys’ and girls’ preschool centers in Mariwan County is at the level of “relatively good”. At the end, some ideas and suggestions were presented in order to improve the quality of the preschool centers.
