The Comparative Analysis of the Concepts and Categories of Multi-Cultural Education in Educational System of Iran and Germany

The goal of the present research is to analyze and compare the concepts and categories of multi-cultural education in educational system of Iran and Germany. The society of this research is in a textual form and includes the superior texts and documents of Iran and Germany educational systems. The sample of research includes the fundamental transformation document of education and training, Iran's perspective document, Germany's superior documents, centers of international affairs and foreign schools. The research methodology is documentary analysis and contents analysis. The tool of data collection is a 24-item checklist that evaluates the condition of multi-cultural education in terms of goal, methods and contents. In order to analyze the data, chi-square test is used. The results show that goal, contents and educational method are not taken into consideration in Iran's educational system in comparison with Germany's educational system. As a result, in order to observe the contents and methods of multi-cultural education in Iran's educational system, the strategies and goals must be investigated in perspective, enormous Programs and superior documents of Iran's general educational system. Despite the presence of many cultural and ethnical variations in Iran that makes the opportunities of the development of multi-cultural education possible, the lack of enormous strategies, long-term programs and goal of multi-cultural education is completely visible. This issue is a main obstacle of the realization of contents and multi-cultural education methods in Iran's educational system.
