The effectiveness of the components of emotional intelligence training on improving family functioning secondary school students first, Diwandareh city

Abstract


Emotional intelligence training can play an effective role in enhancing the improve communication in relationships with parents of adolescents. Also be aware of the emotional intelligence techniques can cause impulse control, expressing the feelings and solve conflicts. this study was aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the components of emotional intelligence training on improving family functioning secondary school students first, Diwandareh city. research method semi-experimental and  research design pretest - posttest control group. 40 person of teenage boys secondary school first, Diwandareh city in the academic year 2015-2016 were randomly divided into experimental and control groups. the experimental group received 8 sessions of emotional intelligence skills. Assessment tools were questionnaires Bloom family function. data were analyzed using ANCOVA. the results showed that the components of emotional intelligence training to the boys in families improve the overall performance has been effective. and from the research, it is concluded that family conflict is the source of multiple injuries and the training methods and interference can be reduced and helped to improve family functioning
